This piece is a lot different from my usual work. I tried to do more of an emotional piece to where my viewers/audience would be able to feel or relate to. **THE BACK STORY** I chose this song because she sings about a situation where she feels as if she was "stuck" and I found this song around the time of my shoulder injury/surgery. I wasn't able to dance at all. I was so frustrated that I couldn't even watch my peers dance. So I hope you guys are able to see/feel my frustration behind the choreography. Mar 11, 2012 - Pat, I had a hip injury recently and I have to go through therapy for it. I haven't been able to really dance to my fullest... I know I'm not a professional dancer/choreography. I wish to be though.. And you going through your injury and creating this amazing piece has inspired me so much and I can't wait to take your class at Stony Brook next week. I'm coming from Binghamton, New York to take your class. Can't wait to meet another one of my inspirations :D You're a one dope cat!
