Diesel Power! Bachmann BR class 42 "Warship" review

Today, we take a look at a Western region diesel hydraulic "Warship" class my Bachmann UK. This particular model is Bachmann's OO gauge reproduction of D867 Zenith, which is DCC fitted. The model is painted in her early livery, BR Brunswick green w/ yellow ends. Bachmann has been producing this model for quite some time, but has retooled the model since then with a new package and a DCC fitted/ DCC ready chassis. The model is also supplied with lots of detail parts, which need to be fitted to the front/back of the locomotive. A 21 pin DCC blanking plate is also provided if you wish to convert this model back to DC operation. In part 1, we unbox the loco and take a look at the detailing, parts, and information provided. In part 2, we give her a run on the layout.

Feb 11, 2012 - lol Honestly, I might feel a bit dissapointed by their warship after reviewing and running this one. If they did, it would most likely have the CGI face so not to scare children and that would piss me off. lol that's why I liked him in the first place. Apr 23, 2012 - I sold a few of the ones I was willing to part with, but the expensive Athearns and Walthers locos and rolling stock I use occasionally on the old layout and at train shows.
