Allan Spyere is facing deportation. Allan legally married in California however without Federal Rights for Gay Couples, he did not receive his citizenship. To overcome, yet another challenge to the Gay Community, Allan's friends need to prove that Allan is a valuable asset and committed to his community. Please make a video/write a letter in support of Allan and send to Cpfeil72@Gmail.com. Please call Council member Todd Gloria and Congress woman Susan Davis. Please share with your social media. Allan needs our support and recommendations in order to stay in the US. Please help. Feb 9, 2012 - We love Allan. It would be a huge loss if he were deported. I'm asking friends to help and wrote or call Todd Gloria to help keep him in the US

Feb 10, 2012 - Glad that you posted this video. Allan has been a key volunteer for Cine Gay Showcase at the San Diego Latino Film Festival. This afternoon, I received a call from Susan Davis' office in response to my letter and was happy to learn that she is looking into this matter to assist Allan! Hoping for the best.

Feb 15, 2012 - I'm going to go out on a limb here and express how I really feel about all of this. The guy thumbed his nose at our legal system by overstaying his visa and then he does it again - while endangering the lives of others - by being arrested for a DUI. Surely he must have realized what kind of tenuous situation he was in regarding his immigration status, but he didn't care.

Feb 15, 2012 - Also, bringing up his "marriage" in this video is a pathetic attempt to ride the coattails of the Prop 8 wavelet of euphoria. In his latest column Allan mentioned moving in with his new boyfriend, which was not the person he married. This is just another "leader" of our "community" that I am not impressed with. He knew the consequences of his actions, took the risks and paid the price. He certainly is no example and he does not deserve my support.

Feb 16, 2012 - Even if he were in a hetrosexual marriage, he would most likely have to return to Brazil and wait for his spouse to sponsor him. With so many connections he could have had one of his "friends" sponsor him to stay. So he either forged documents to work at all these night clubs in San Diego, or all the night club owners knew! The fines that Numbers & " F st " risk are enough to put so many other employees out of work. Allan would never agree to backstab all these employers!!!

Feb 9, 2012 - The only way Allan could be a more bona fide member of society is if he receives that little paper certifying his citizenship. In all other ways, he's truly a model citizen. We love you Allan!
