Nadir failed to show that a pycnocline is a barrier between two seas that cannot be trespassed. 2. Nadir failed to show that his explanation for the word "yabghiyani" is correct i.e he failed to explain how commanding water not to be prostitutes or obeying morals is logical or reasonable in any shape or form 3. Nadir failed to show why the most logical and coherent explanation for the word "yabghiyani" i.e seas TRESPASSING the barrier is wrong. 4. Nadir failed to show how it can make sense to say "the two seas cannot mix the barrier" rather than "the two seas cannot transgress the barrier" 5. Nadir failed to show why his rather illogical explanation for the word "yabghiyani" should be accepted OVER the explanation of Classical Islamic Scholars 6. Nadir did not refute objection 5 i.e why should anyone consider alternate fantastical (yet unsupported) claims of an imaginary invisible barrier OVER the obvious explanation of a land barrier? 7. Nadir failed to demonstrate how the bible verse are not referring to the same idea expressed in the Quran! 8. Nadir failed to demonstrate that my arguments were logically fallacious in any way 9. Nadir failed to refute any logical fallacies he was accused of committing (such as equivocation) 10. Nadir did not get the chance to get to my remaining points! 11. Nadir overall failed to provide a strong case for his position!

Of course, right when he said that I realized he was using dishonest debate tactics...so I gave him my objections...and the only absurdities that were heard was from Nadir's side with his prostituting oceans and marine morality and such!

Feb 14, 2012 - typical theist tactics. the cherry picking and reverse engineering is appauling as well. ive mentioned this before and offered a challenge to ALL muslims; if the quran is such a scientific book as it were, it should act as such. it should be able to make predictions. whats te next big scientific discovery? no imam, cleric of islamic scholar will be able to answer this. surely such a prophetic book could do this. have you heard of the Dunning-Kruger effect?

His interruptions, evasiveness, ridiculous accusations of the opposition are all childish debate tactics which any self-respecting person wouldn't resort to. If, on the other hand, he genuinely feels he's making a strong case and his debating is genuine then he's just deluded. Top marks to Captaindisguise - his patience and manners were exemplary.

May 9, 2012 - The only uniqueness of Nadir's arguments (as stupid as it is) is the claim that it is the debunkers who are re-interpreting the quran and not the followers of the religion. If thats the case the same interpretation would have been the popular interpretation 600 years ago which isnt the case
