With the news that independent circuit star and well-known Ring of Honor competitor Chris Hero has finally been signed by World Wrestling Entertainment (it'd been speculated -- hell, expected -- ever since his longtime partner Claudio Castagnoli was signed to the company), personally, I'm quite excited for the possibilities here. Hero and Castagnoli, collectively known as "The Kings of Wrestling", have a reputation for being a great tag team respected by a lot of fans, and with WWE's honestly near-dead tag team division (let's face it -- the only teams that really exist at this point are the champions (Primo & Epico), The Usos, and Santino + (Insert Partner Here), especially since Evan Bourne's second suspension kind of fucked over Air Boom), the addition of the Kings of Wrestling could be a way to salvage it. In my opinion -- and that's all it really is, so take it for what you will -- WWE needs to start establishing tag teams by having teams debut as tag teams, not as singles wrestlers, to establish that, yes, these guys are a team. That way, a heavy chunk of the division isn't just made of dudes teaming with Santino, and other throw-together tandems. Don't forget to subscribe!
