"Justin?" "In the kitchen babe." Perfect. I ran up the stairs and into the guest room, swinging open the closet door. I threw the newly bought dress onto the hanger, and hung it up, running back downstairs. "I'm guessing you found a dress?" "Yeah." I blushed lightly as he wrapped his arms around my waist. He looked me in the eyes, and I noticed a raw cut above his eye. "Justin, what happened to your eye?" "Oh, I.. I um.." "J, what happened?" "Nick happened.. The cops came and took him back to prison, but not before he could hit me." "God Justin...." "I didn't hit him back, I promise." "Ok.." ------ *Two weeks later* "Selena! Ariana is here! I'll be back later." I smiled, and walked downstairs. "Hey Ari." "Hey Sel. How are you?" "I'm good, how was your trip with Avan?" "It was amazing!" "Glad to see that your happy." We sat down on the couch, and she pulled out a movie. It was The Notebook. "Movie night?" "Of course!!!!" I smiled and walked into the kitchen, putting a bag of popcorn into the microwave. Once it was done, I poured it into a bowl and walked back to Ariana, grabbing two blankets on the way. "Let's get our movie on." ----- "Babe?" "Upstairs.." I yawned and closed my eyes, but opened them when I heard Justin. "Hey baby.." "Hey.." He changed into sweatpants and took his shirt off, crawling into bed with me. "You okay?" "Yeah, just very tired." "Well, sleep baby girl. I love you." "Love you too." He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my head. -------- "Sel...." "Good morning." "Good morning to you as well." "Get your ass up, we're going for a run on the beach." "Okay.." I smiled at him, and ran downstairs for a water bottle. ----- Comments? This is short, but on purpose.
