My video project for my Drawing Workshop class. The assignment was to explore religion in todays society. I live near one of the richest cities in the country and it is filled to the brim with superficial, overdone people. I personally witness people who wear a cross necklace acting extremely un-pious. I feel that to some (not all by any means) cross jewelry has become more of a fashion accessory rather than a external icon of the persons devotion. So, I took that idea and ran with it. I turned the cross necklace into a line of jewelry and filmed a fashion editorial commercial. This is in no way meant to offend anyone who wears a cross necklace and also acts like a decent person.
