It's Day 7 post Lefort I upper jaw surgery and my swelling is going down! I have a bit more movement in my face, I can eat mushy stuff now (not efficiently but hey...) and a few more nurves tingeling!! For more go to upperjawsurgery.wordpress.com

Feb 27, 2012 - @wallace72001 Yep, it looks a lot like miss piggy ;-) Hot packs do not help with swelling, only cold packs do. Heat packs are primarily used to relieve muscle aches. I started experiencing muscle strain at 2 1/2 from the bands. I hope you're starting to feel better. Best of luck. :-)

Feb 27, 2012 - dang your lip is huge!!! im at day 5 and i think my upper lip is getting there, and i tought after the second day we are supposed to use hot compress
