In the South West of Tasmania is the World Heritage area of lakes, mountains and forests. Turn off the Strathgordon Road and follow the dirt road for 30 km to Scotts Peak Dam. Just after the Dam is a lookout called Red Knoll. This footage is the 360 degree view from the Red Knoll Car park across Lake Peddar. Most of the peaks are 1300 metres or more.
