EXTERIOR This stunning Mini Thirty is finished in the lustrous Pearlescent Cherry Red, one of only two colours available for this model. A beautiful depth of shine is created due to the extra coat of clear lacquer applied when new. All the chrome is perfect, including the eleven slat grille and front and rear bumpers. All distinguishing decals exclusive to the Mini Thirty remain intact and damage free. The Mini Thirty Crest bonnet badge is present Minor paint carried out three years ago and a tiny undulation on the drivers door exist. Wheel arch spats are perfect with no scuffs or dents to any panels. INTERIOR The interior of this outstanding Mini Thirty is in fabulous factory original condition finished in the elegant blend of black leather and 'Lighting' cloth with the important '1959 to 1989' still neatly sewn into the seat. The unique Claret deep cut pile carpets are wear free having been protected by the Dealer fit velour carpet mats from new. The red leather sports steering wheel with 'Thirty' crest is not worn having covered such few miles. The Phillips R570 stereo with matching 30 watt parcel shelf speakers remain, however, the tone knob is missing. All instruments, switches gauges operate correctly and the interior plastic trim and door cards are perfect. The passenger door bin has minor scuffs. A fabulous charming and quality environment to be sat in exactly how the manufacturer intended. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION This car is in excellent mechanical order having covered such few miles. The engine is the 4-cylinder transverse OHV 998cc A+ unit which pulls strongly and is quiet. The four speed automatic gearbox is smooth and changes gear quickly. Only 200 of the 3000 Mini Thirty models produced were automatic making this an extremely rare car. If you have driven a mini before you will know it is pure fun and this example is no exception! WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES The correct and desirable eight spoke alloy wheels with wheel nut cut away sections remain scuff and damage free all shod in quality 145/70 X 12 tyres. The servo assisted dual line hydraulic brakes pull the car up quickly and have improved with recent use. Very responsive handling and manoeuvrability. HISTORY FILE A very comprehensive history file waits to be presented to the new owner of this delightful car. Every MOT is included from new making it very easy to verify the incredibly low mileage of just 25,034. Having had only two former keepers including a successful business owner with an impressive collection of low mileage classic cars this example has been pampered. All hand books exist including the Service Record book with stamps, Customer Guide booklet, Dealer Location Booklet, In-car Entertainment Booklet, Austin Rover Security Code card and unused AA Relay car window stickers.
