However, I like the Razr Maxx becuz of the long battry life. but if yur able to request and extd battery for the Droid 4, then in my opinion the Droid 4 is better than the Razr Maxx. Whats the cost associated with gettin and extd battery for your Droid 4 phone? Via Verizon, the Maxx is $100 more than the Droid 4. How long does your battery last if you're constantly using it throughout the day (long phone calls, streaming music and/or videos, txt messaging, downloading content, GPS navigation, etc) ....just curious?? I'm really trying to compare the Maxx against the Droid 4 before i buy one or the other.

Apr 8, 2012 - it was hard for me to decided if i wanted the droid razr maxx or the droid 4. ive been waiting for the perfect droid since the droid 1. i love the keyboard its perfect just wish it had the same extended battery as the maxx. im not to picky about screen resolution or size but a long lasting battery is what i need. i use the 4G radio when i download large apps. but during the day when im just surfing i set it on 3G. and i get a full day out of it.

Apr 8, 2012 - you can toggle the radio freq. from 4g to 3g even to 1X. theres an app called Network. Google it on your android phone. type Network App for Android and scroll down to the link on the first page you will see Network toggle radio. Click on it and it will send you to a page where theres a link to download it from the market. its free. to set it to 1X i scroll down to where theres an option click and cdma only and it goes from 3G4G to 1X. setting it to theres saves more battery than even 3g.

Apr 9, 2012 - hey whats up man and yes i must say the droid razr maxx battery is extremely good it lasts for me "heavy use" (with 3g because i dont have 4g LTE in my area) from 8am - 3am" single charge, however when i was in columbia sc with in 4g LTE access i still got good battery life i was able to watch a movie useing 4g LTE on netflix and still had 70% battery left after watching the movie
