Australia is once again bracing for heavy floods affecting areas of Western Queensland and Northern New South Wales and many towns have been hit hard. This short video shows the flood water moving West between Moree and Collarenebi. Satellite images from the NASA Earth-observation satellites Terra and Aqua (http://lance.nasa.gov/imagery/rapid-response/) have been used for this time-series (five images loop). For all emergency alerts and latest updates on the situation, go to: Queensland floods 2012 (http://www.qld.gov.au/floods/) or New South Wales flood 2012 (http://www.nsw.gov.au/floods).
