Herb Younger thought we were a film crew documenting three generations of an American family. Little did he know, we conspired with his two sons, Jared and Derek, to return his long-lost Impala. The rest, as you'll see, is history. A 1965 Chevy Impala SS is more than a car to the Younger family, it's what binds them together. To pay for his sons' education, Herb Younger was forced to sell his beloved '65 Impala. Two decades later, they found a way to pay him back.

May 5, 2012 - I am really touched by this story. I have a 1964 1/2 mustang convertible that I refused to part with. I am the original owner and I have the owner's manual too. I wouldn't part with it...it's a garage queen that I take out once a week. I know how his father feels about this car. He probably saved to get his dream car in the first place.

May 14, 2012 - I love this video but it leaves me with a question that genuinely makes me quite sad about the U.S motoring industry.. What ever happened to American design? You guys used to build some of the most beautiful cars ever conceived!. Take this Impala for example it's painfully pretty and such a majestic machine. And now we're left with the Chevrolet Cruze.. Google it, its revolting!

May 25, 2012 - It's absolutely beautiful. Reminds me from the 1950's M.Benz W120 Ponton my grandfather owned in which my dad learned to drive and travelled to many places. It was a wonderful car and grandpa always did regret of selling it. Unfortunately our story couldn't find this happy ending. Is it only me or this commercial carries plenty of that GOLD OLD AMERICAN SPIRIT. Something connected with PRIDE and GREATNESS of a nation and its single citizens. Wonderful ad! Chevy runs deep. Indeed.
