WARNING if you come here to complain about the quality of this video or to tell me what I need to do you can keep it moving to another video. I am already aware of the quality (clarification) of my camera, no need to point the obvious out. For the time being this is the best I can do. Thank you...This is in no way a show how tutorial. I am just showing you how you can think outside of the box to make your own mannequin heads. This one was made from duct tape (outer part) and cotton ( the whole interior part) for the neck I used the duct tape roll which came in handy as I was out of duct tape. When I made this channel my intentions were not to do tutorials but to show how you can use your imagination and whatever that may be available around the house at the time to conduct these wig making projects. This did not cost me a dime. I don't intend on buying any of my wigmaking tools from the store. I don't like to even waste a penny on non-sense that I know I can create myself. By far this is the best soft canvas head I have made. I am very proud of it. Now what is left to do with it is to close the bottom of it up and make it attachable to my self -made wig (fan) stand or something else I have in mind and cover the hideous gray duct tape with bandage wrap. This head took some finesse and caressing to get it into the shape I wanted but once I got it all together, it became a work of art. A little bit of sculpting with the cotton was needed when it was inside of the head. It may look as if it was an easy task but it was not. The shaping was the hardest part... The other DIY canvas head I made (the hard one made from candle wax) broke. The neck part broke off. I never was completely pleased with it b/c of it's shape it wasn't shaped like a head as much as this one, it was too round. And no one's head is shaped like a ball...

Feb 9, 2012 - thanks...I have a vid on your question, does the needles I make work on Swiss lace but did not upload to youtube b/c the needle is too big for the holes in that lace. So it takes a long time to get the needle through the lace but it did not rip it. I plan on making a smaller sized needle for the Swiss lace. The needles I use are sewing needles. I cut one side of the eye part off and sand the edges down once it has been cut to prevent snagging. continued...

Feb 9, 2012 - When I have the time I will make a smaller sized needle. I may upload the video on the ventilating needle on the swiss lace today now that I have explained to you the situation on it...
