Jan 6, 2012 - @farah46966 If I had to guess, it was at the tail end of an interview with VPRO in the Netherlands at whatever hotel he was staying at while he was in town (guessing Amsterdam or Rotterdam). They talked him into playing a song and the elevator was the best place to record it. Elevators are like a vocal booth if you don't mind a little bit of ambient noise.
