Family members and friends said their final goodbyes to the late Dr Toh Chin Chye on Tuesday morning at the Mandai Crematorium. Dr Toh died at the age of 90 on 3 February. Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who was one of the five who delivered eulogies at the funeral service, reminded Singaporeans that without Dr Toh and his fellow Old Guard, Singapore, as "a modern and prosperous metropolis" would not exist.
