On January 18, 2012, tech entrepreneurs from around the country came to the Kansas City Public Library's Plaza Branch to participate in the first-ever, Google Fiber-inspired Gigabit Challenge Global Business Plan Competition. Winners left with hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes and startup capital. But, being librarians, we wanted to know what those savvy entrepreneurs had been reading lately. Jan 24, 2012 - Thank you, Corinna! More good books: Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh, How Did I Get Here by Tony Hawk, Upstarts by Donna Fenn, and The Intelligent Entrepreneur by Bill Murphy Jr.

Jan 24, 2012 - Wow! I finished "The Innovators Dilemma" by Clayton M. Christensen and can not believe no one recommended it. Want to change the world, Clay shows you how it is done. I am just into "Four Steps to the Epiphany" by Steve Blank, about the need for Customer Development alongside Product Development. Good Reading.

Jan 20, 2012 - Nice edit. I'd recommend How to Change the World by David Bornstein about social entrepreneurs. The nonprofit and for profit worlds are merging.
