One of the first runs of DendSim3, a simulation code for dendritic growth. It used a total of approx. 130 GB RAM and produced approx. 490 GB of output data. The model is developed by the department of Metallic Materials, FSU Jena ( http://www.matwi.uni-jena.de/metalle/englisch/index.htm ). It is using LibGeoDecomp ( http://www.libgeodecomp.org ) for the parallelization and output. Visualization was done with VisIt.
