Feb 9, 2012 - Most Americans are Christian or beleive in the God of Abraham in one form or another. These people believe in an invisible person, heaven and hell, for the most part. Obama is included in that group. I do not think that their personal beliefs, misguided or not, on the topic of evolution is important. My point is, is what does Ron Paul and the other candidates know about creating plans for peace, liberty, and prosperity? That's my concern.

Feb 9, 2012 - If you didn't notice Obama ended the war in Iraq and is winding down Afghanistan. Being consistent simply means that he has not changed his views as the world has changed. We believe in equality for minorities through the Civil Rights Act. We believe in rights for the disabled through the Americans with Disabilities Act. Ron Paul opposes all of these. This is the sign of somebody living in the 1920s.

Feb 10, 2012 - Bush ended the war in Iraq, while Obama's state department tried to keep it going (wanted to keep troops there, wanted immunity for troops -- Iraq said no). Obama literally did nothing to "end" the war in Iraq other than follow Bush's edict. Obama sent 30,000 troops to Afghanistan, and while it appears to be "ending" by 2013, don't be surprised if we get involved in Iran/Syria by then. Obama intervened in Libya, a completely illegal war. The war machine rolls on.

Feb 10, 2012 - The Constitution is clear: only Congress has the power to issue currency. The Fed has no oversight. Ron Paul has said it needs to be audited and later phased out. No reason why the Treasury can't print its own money, instead of the Fed printing it, then *loaning* it to the Treasury at interest. It's absurd, but very profitable for those own the Fed.

Feb 10, 2012 - His interpretation of the Civil Rights Act seems to have taken libertarianism to its literal extreme. It's unfortunate, but I don't have to agree with him on every, solitary issue to support him. It should at least be noted that he has spoken out many times against discrimination in the courts with respect to drug laws and minorities, and changed his position on the death penalty because too many minorities are being disproportionately put to death.

Feb 10, 2012 - That's why congress created the Fed so they could create money. Congress holds it accountable by holding hearings and approving its chairman and governors. Any interest the Fed makes has to be returned to treasury. I'm sure Alex Jones didn't tell you that. The Fed is audited.
