It was hot. I felt like there was no oxygen coursing through my body. I couldn't see a thing, my eyes barely adapted to the shadows of the dark, leaving me with barely any sight. Sweat beads were dripping down my face and body. I had to turn around and almost stick my head out of the whole in the back of the car for air. If I wouldn't have kicked that tail-light out...I would most likely be dead. My mouth felt like it was stuffed with cotton balls. It was dry and I could barely swallow. I felt the car come to a stop and I took a deep breath, inhaling hot air. The trunk popped open and I looked up, squinting my eyes at the light now beaming into my eyes. I breathed in the fresh air rapidly and looked up at my kidnapper. "You?" "Justin!" "What!?" "We can't do any more than we already have! Let's just go home!" "But wait, I thought you said we shouldn't sit on our asses all day while Selena could be dead!" "Justin, calm down, it's only been a day since she has gone missing. They will find her." "The police are so overrated. They won't find her. If anyone does, it will be us." "Come on! They have all of the evidence, we don't!" "I'm going to go look for the girl I love." I turned around toward her and pointed my finger in her face. "If you don't want to come, you don't have to." She flipped my hand down, back to my side and took a step closer to me. "Love? You had no interest in her until you saw her in the park the other day with YOUR son!" "Do you think I didn't want to talk to her? I was waiting and waiting to 'accidentally' run into her so I could get the courage up to talk to her again after what I did to her! I was too scared. I hurt her, and I know that she won't ever forgive me for that...I'm sorry that I didn't want to hurt her even more, Miley!" "You don't even love Kyle! You left him!" I turned myself around, facing Miley once again, choosing my words carefully. "Don't you dare tell me if I love my son or not. I wasn't ready to be a dad...and that was a year ago. I know I might not know him but I had my reasons for leaving. So if you even try to tell me that I don't love my son again, you can fuck off...for good." She didn't say anything but took a step back, walking backwards toward the bench on the side of the sidewalk. She smirked, and looked down, raising her eyebrows. "Tell me if you find her, Prince Charming." Her sarcasm burned in my ears and I watched as she turned around, calling a taxi as she went. "Oh, Selena. How great to see you again...not that I haven't seen you as I was stalking you for the past month." "Let me go." "I don't think that's such a good idea. I've missed you." "You're a pig." "I would be nice if I were you." He raised his eyebrows and pointed his head to my tied up hands. "I'm the one in control here." I looked at him, sneering. "I'll give you one more chance to be nice." I didn't say anything but just spit out of the trunk toward his body in disgust. "You bitch." He muttered as he slammed the trunk shut, making the whole car shake. I heard the front door of the car slam, signaling he was in the drivers seat. I sighed, closing my eyes and praying that someone would find me and catch this bastard before he does something terribly wrong. _____________________________________________ 10+ comments!
