A short recap of workshops during the first edition of SpaceFest! http://spacefest.pl Pure Phase Ensemble was an international music collective created specially for the SpaceFest! festival. 13 musicians from Poland and the UK took part in a workshop held at Laznia CCA in December 2011. Together they composed the music material which was later performed during the festival. Raymond Dickaty, a British saxophonist improviser, in 1997-2002 a member of Spiritualized /www.raydickaty.com/ created the programme for the workshop together with Karol Schwarz who manages Nasiono Records /nasiono.net/. Among the musicians invited to participate in the workshop were also: Jaime Harding (Marion), Piotr Pawlak (Kury, Łoskot), Antoni Budziński (Klimt), Borys Kossakowski (Towary Zastępcze). The musicians created a set of 7 songs which was recorded live during SpaceFest! (to be released on a CD in spring 2012) .
