Feb 13, 2012 - Why not encourage people to learn rather than to "not vote?" People who don't pay attention usually DON'T vote, but the "not voting" is just the symptom of the problem that is apathy on the part of citizens. They've been encouraged to "drop out" and vulgar libertarians like Stossel prefer that the stupid masses are less engaged in politics because then they won't use democracy as a weapon against the rich and powerful - so the powerful can use government as a weapon against the masses.

Feb 13, 2012 - How much money will be paid to keep Buddy Roemer off the ballot? I hope he runs as an Independent, wins the Presidential Election by the people for the people. What are the Democrats and the Republicans gonna do then? They will start dropping out of Congress like flies if they can't collect their fringe benefits. $ FREE TO LEAD BUDDY ROEMER, LET'S GET THE MONEY OUT OF POLITICS!

Feb 17, 2012 - Read Bastiat on universal suffrage. It's the most brilliant explanation of why pure democracy is horrible.

Feb 24, 2012 - "The problem is that we're getting the government they deserve." Awesome quote.

Feb 24, 2012 - I think they are absolutely right. Its not like we can have an intelligence weighted index for voting

Feb 24, 2012 - John Stossel for president 2016!!! Judge Napalitano Vice president.. or vice versa.

Mar 22, 2012 - He does encourage the people to learn. There are many people who don't pay attention and do vote. They would vote for candidates that their friends and family support without knowing why. Stossel prefer the stupid masses to become educated and informed. If you are not, then why vote?

Mar 22, 2012 - Umm, who should I vote for? The democrat puppet or the republican puppet. A puppet is a puppet after all, no one cares. I don't think Ron Paul is a puppet though. No, not at all...

Apr 4, 2012 - That's not what he's saying at all. He's saying if someone is going to get involved in something because they want to do the right thing, then in order to do the right thing and not the wrong thing you HAVE to be engaged mentally as well as in the act of voting itself. Be willing to admit when you don't know and find the answers for yourself. Then vote based on your reasoning not some flawed 'intuition' of a man on a television screen.

Apr 12, 2012 - Vote or die. Either Giant Douche or Turd Sandwich.
tonoklein Wypowiedź:
Apr 13, 2012 - It doesn't matter who or how many vote. What matters is who counts the votes. "Missing precincts". "More votes than voters". Diebold. Dead people voting. Railroaded caucuses. I.e., election fraud. Watch "US Attorney General Eric Holder's Ballot to Vote Offered to Total Stranger" and "US elections, rigged and computer codes. ELECTION FRAUD!" You will not have legitimate elections until you FIX THE SYSTEM.

Apr 21, 2012 - Ryan Caplan has a lecture that was posted on YouTube discussing the topic of his book the Myth of the Rational Voter. Here is a link to those who want to listen to it. /watch?v=XKANfuq_92U

May 4, 2012 - Congress should be tested on any bill introduced to them before they vote. If they can't pass the test, they can't vote on it, and the results of the tests made public.
Tetzukai Wypowiedź:
May 11, 2012 - All of this American patriotism and most of you dumbasses can't even run a proper democracy right. Ironic fail.
Ztindell92 Wypowiedź:
May 16, 2012 - oh yeah everyone should register to vote at school or the dmv but after that dont vote so we can steal your vote when your not paying attention. he should be telling ppl not to register if they dont want to take it seriously.

Feb 9, 2012 - Actually that would be the first question on the test. If they didn't get a 100% on that, the entire test would be revoked and they couldn't reapply till the next election.
