"Kuhio Beach", a song written by Ihilani Miller, sung By Sam Bernard. Sam Bernard passed away on Feb. 15th, 2001 at the age of 56. He was known for his beautiful pure sweet falsetto. He was also Kumu Hula of Hula Halau Kaululaka. He recorded two LPs, "Mahie" and "Mahie Palau", both of which are much sought after by collectors of Hawaiian music. Along with Darrell Lupenui, Kekua Fernandes, Keli`i Joy he was part of the Hawaiian Isle Serenaders. Wonderful video of Sam Bernard can be seen at the end of the movie "Hawaiian Rainbow", done in 1987 by Robert Mugge.
