Feb 6, 2012 - Is the owner of the gun LE or from military? As I understand even in USA you need some crazy-ass license if you want to have original full-auto MP5 with collapsible stock as an civilian?

Feb 6, 2012 - PVS-14 Night Enforcer with holding a cheap Flip HD camera behind it. I need to figure out a camera that works better/clearer in low light, because this is the best PVS-14 you can get, but the camera just doesn't do it justice. Plus YT degrades video quality on top of everything.

Feb 6, 2012 - You can be a regular civilian and own a machine gun. A machine gun can be any size with any stock. You just need to fill out some paperwork for the ATF and pay tax for for the stamp that says you're legally able to own it. Balling...That thing must be like $25,000....

Feb 6, 2012 - Too cool dude! I got to go full auto for the first time at a Vicker's class with a UMP45. Wish I had more rounds too.

Feb 6, 2012 - Not to go off topic, but would you say a pv7b is a good night vision google? I think a pvs14 is a bit out of my price range, but I can get a 7b for around 1/3rd the price.

Feb 7, 2012 - Well "good" is a subjective and relative term really. It depends on if it's used or new, what tube it has in it, autogated or non-autogated, etc.. For instance, mine is autogated, so it dims down you'll notice when there are bright lights suddenly introduced, like muzzle flashes. The PVS-7's I've seen will actually completely go dark because it can't handle the bright flashes so to protect itself it kills the tube temporarily. So you have to shoot suppressed or with a FH.

Feb 7, 2012 - However, that said, the PVS-7 certainly isn't "bad" in my opinion. I just prefer the single tube monocular compared to the single tube "goggle." But if that's what you can afford and you just don't think you're going to be able to wait longer to get a PVS-14, then it's a good option if you like that style. I'm wanting to eventually get a set of dual tube binocular NODs, like the PVS-15 or similar. Those are the best type available, just insanely expensive. We'll see.

Mar 19, 2012 - You don't need a crazy ass license, full-auto is Title II just like the SBRs you'll see in his other videos. The rub, and it's a big one, is that any "machine gun" (legal definition) has to have been manufactured prior to May 1986. I don't believe HK ever offered any real MP5s on the civilian market. However, they did make the HK 94 (semi-auto, 16" barrel, MP5) and someone could have converted one to Title II before May 1986.
