The next morning I sat with Alice in a cafe in Forks. ,, So how is to be back?" Alice asked me drinking her coffee. ,,It feels great. I've never been better before." I smiled and bit into my bread. ,,Emmet is happy." she said and looked down on the table. She looked kind of sad. ,,Are you okay?" I asked her. ,,To be honest no. It is so unfair Rosalie is a bitch." ,,Alice!" I was shocked Alice swears never. ,,Do you feel more for Emmet than friendship?" ,,No of course not. Why should I ?" ,,Alice, you always liked him. Look at me sweety." She looked at me ,, Be honest" I said. ,,Okay you are right. I'm in love with him. I didn't want this but it happened." Alice sigh. ,,Honey sometimes you can't control your feelings." ,, You are right but it hurts." I stroke her hand. ,,I know" After our breakfast I drove to Emmet alone. We will go out tonight like in old times. We will watch a movie in cinema and maybe go to a club in Port Angeles after. I rang the bell 2 seconds later Edward opened the door ,,Oh hey Bella. How are you? Come in." he smiled at me. What is wrong with him I thought. ,,Hey I'm good thanks. Is Emmet home ?" ,,No he is at the grocery store. But he will be here any minute. Sit down please." I sat down on the couch. ,,I can come back later when he's at home" ,,No no stay he will be here soon." He smiled again and sat down on the couch too. ,,Bella I want to apologize" I looked up at him surprised. ,,For my bad behavior. I think we are no kids anymore so we should behave like grown ups. Don't you think?" ,,Ye-es" I stammered. He held out his hand to me and I put my hand in his. ,,Friends?" he asked ,,Friends" I answered and for some reason I smiled wide. The door opened and Emmet came in. ,,Hey Bells" he greeted me. He was full of bags. ,,Hey can I help you?" I asked still smiling like an Idiot. ,,No I'm okay" he went to the kitchen and 3 minutes he came back. ,,When do we meet tonight?" he asked ,,How about 7 o'clock the movie begins at 8 o'clock." ,,Sounds good I will pick you up." Promptly at 7o'clock the doorbell rang. I got in Emmets car ,,Hey" I greeted him kissing his cheek. ,,Hey are you ready?" ,,Of course" I laughed. After the movie we went to a club. ,,You are seeking a place I'll get the drinks" Emmet said and disappeared to the bar. 5 minutes later he came back with 2 cocktails. ,,They are playing good music here" I almost yelled to Emmet. ,,Do you want to dance?" he yelled I shook my head. He didn't listen and took my hand pulling me to the dance floor. I started dancing and I admit it was fun. Emmet and I laughed a lot we hugged each other the whole time during dancing.,,I love you Emmet. Like a brother." I whispered in his ear. He kissed my cheek ,,And I love you sweetie" He whispered back. I don't know what I would do without him. We danced almost 30 minutes. ,,I need a drink" I said in his ear. We went back to our seats. ,,Can I ask you something?" I said to Emmet. He nodded ,,of course".,,Do you know what happened with Edward?" ,,What do you mean?" ,,He is so- I don't know- friendly" Emmet smiled ,,I know I maybe he changed because of a girl." He shrugged his shoulders. ,,What do you mean?" I felt a stitch in my heart. I don't want to know why. ,, Maybe he has a girlfriend. He travels a lot in recent times." After this conversation I felt very down. I just wanted to go home. Emmet drank a lot this evening. After 3 more hours in the club he was really drunk. We had already 3 o'clock in the morning. ,,Emmet we should go home." he staggered beside me. ,,Okay I'll drive" ,,Oh no I don't think so. You are drunk and I drank alcohol too. I think we should call someone." ,,Okay call Edward." Oh no not him. But he's the only one who can pick us up. I called him ,,Hmm?" I heard Edward. ,,Edward could you please pick Emmet and me up?" ,,Bella? Have you any Idea how late it is?" he sounded angrily ,,Yes I'm sorry but Emmet is drunk and I can't drive too" ,,Okay give 20 minutes." 20 minutes later Edward picked us up. Edward was very angry. I didn't know if he was angry at me or Emmet. The whole way home I looked down. I was kinda sad but I didn't know why. 10 minutes later we arrived at my house. ,,Thank you" I said as I get out of the car. I went straight to my room. I sat down on the bad and suddenly I started crying. Why is life so complicated sometimes. Please comment and rate.(7comments)
