Let's just finish dinner and get ready for our family portraits." Emilie said. Upstairs with Taylor and Macy, Taylor was sitting on Macy's bed with Macy crying in his arms. Kyle had never said or done anything that bad to hurt his sister, and yet he didn't feel bad. Not once. It was just Kyle was a whole new person. "I've never felt so put down before. Not even in high school. I mean yeah, I was bullied sometimes, but being hurt like that by my own brother is by far worse." Macy cried. "I know. He's never done that before." Taylor said rubbing Macy's back. "I feel so humiliated!" Macy exclaimed. "Everyone feels humiliated at some point Mace. I've felt humiliated." "When have you ever felt humiliated?" Macy asked looking up at Taylor. "When I didn't step up to my dad telling him I wanted to stay here with you, so I could be a better father. I also felt humiliated when you went into labor and I couldn't be with you." "That made you feel humiliated?" "Of course, I'm a dad. And a dad that leaves his family without even meeting his daughters has got to feel humiliated if they never wanted to leave. And you know that I didn't want to leave." "I know. You were crying the day we said goodbye, and you were crying more than I did." "Well, I was leaving my pregnant girlfriend behind, I wasn't going to do what was wrong and dump you so only you could raise our daughters. You know how much I love you Macy, and you know how much I love those girls. The only thing I regret doing was leaving the three of you behind." "I know. I could see it in your eyes. I've never seen you so hurt before. And when you saw me and then the girls, I've never seen your eyes light up so much!" "It was the best day of my life. I got to see the love of my life, and I finally got to meet my daughters. That was all I wanted to do with my life. Now that I have what I want, I don't know what I want to do with my life, except marry you." "And what about our daughters?" Macy smirked. "I can't marry them, they're only three. Hehe, but of course I want them." Taylor laughed. Macy smiled brightly while she looked at Taylor. It was easy to make her happy and feel better when Taylor was around. "I'm so glad we finally get to be the family we've always wanted to be." She smiled. "Me too." Taylor said as he leaned over to kiss Macy. Right that second, there was a knock at Macy's door. It was Gabriella and Toni worrying about Macy. They didn't like seeing her upset. "Mommy?" asked Gabriella. "Can we come in?" Toni asked. Macy chuckled as she looked at Taylor. He gave her a quick nod to let her know that he was okay with the twins coming in. "Of course babies, the door is open." Macy responded. The first thing the twins said when they entered the room was: "Are you okay Momma?" Macy smiled right when they walked through the door and got up on the bed. "I am a little better, yes. Thank you for asking." She smiled. "You're welcome." The twins smiled back. Sitting up next to Taylor, Macy grabbed both the twins and put them on hers and Taylor's lap, which they loved. Toni loved sitting on Taylor's lap while Gabriella sat on Macy's. "Did you girls have a good Christmas?" Macy asked happily. "Yes."
