May 23, 2011 - Can I ask you what gears you ran in this race and what kind of rpm you were hitting?? We will be there in june with the Badger Kart Club and need a heads up on this.

Jun 1, 2011 - 2.5 gear ratio is what i run at most enduro tracks...maybe a couple more teeth are needed on the rear at blackhawk just like at badger compared to most tracks. But the problem is that is for a enduro chassis...34 in wide and longer wheel base than a sprinter, laydown seat, and special bodywork. My guess is if you are running the same kart you would at badger you might drop at driver gear or 2 compared to my set up. 24-60 and some where around a 23-60 or 22-60 would make a good starting point.

Oct 20, 2011 - Very narrow aerodynamic bodywork...without that style he would be 5 seconds slower. That steering wheel helps keep your hands out of the wind and gives you good leverage and is easy to make small steering inputs.
