Lost Island Movie presented by http:cybersuccessuniversity.org This video is the introduction to our Movie, Lost Island, an animated film. Most movies and videos don't have introductions, but they do have VIDEO TRAILERs. So we will mention here how to make video trailers for your movie. Of course nowadays movie trailers don't trail the movies shown in the theator like they used to. Movie and video trailers come before the movie, because we have so many ways to see video now as opposed to the past where you could only see a movie by going to a theator. You use a trailer to get people interested in your video. You can make video trailers in free video editing programs such as Windows Movie Maker. But we want to talk about the type of scenes you will want to show in your video trailer. You make video trailers to catch the interest of your possible audience and hopefully galvanize them into action so they actually go out of their way to see your movie or video. One of the key points to catching their interest is to have exciting or attractive visual scenes. The other way to get their attention is to show enough that they want to see more. Get them involved by having them ask in their minds, "What's next? What is going to happen?" Keep these thoughts in mind as you make your video trailer. Since you will be making a video trailer by assembling clips in Movie Maker, you will have to run through your video and decide the possible clips you want to use. Many movie trailers show the action clips from the movie, often it seems the more explosions and chases, and weapons you show, the better. But you don't always want just action, action. Sometimes you want clips that set the mood, that set the tone of the video. If it is a dark and menacing video, you will want include clips of the dark and menacing parts. If it's a light and fun video, you will want most of your clips to reflect the fun and the light feeling. A key point in setting the mood of the movie is the sound track, the music background of the intro titles that slides under the sound of the clips as they play. Use a dark menacing music for the dark movies, ar a light playful tune for the happy video. Hopefully you have the music already which you used in the video. Perhaps you would be better served if you described enough of the plot, enough of the story, to get people involved that way. Of course, you don't want to give away too much. But viewers of the video trailer should get an idea what the movie is about. Keep the trailer short, around a minute when you make a video trailer. People want to get a feel for the video quickly. Once you have decided on the clips from your video, import them to Movie Maker and assemble them on the time line, add narration if you have a narrator tying things together by telling the viewer whats happening, or by asking key questions that will get the viewer to wonder what's going on. Add titles and music. Don't forget to include a website or link where they can go for more. Adjust the timing to get it fast moving with quick shots, and add transitions between the shots to give it the look you want. Be willing to experiment and readjust length of clips and even their order to create a complelling trailer. That's how to make video trailers.
