We've been dyeing our own hair for a while now, and often get asked how or why we do it. We do it because we can. And this is how: Step 1: Wear ugly clothes that you don't care about getting stained Step 2: Having greasy hair prevents your scalp from blistering Step 3: Prepare your room to avoid getting dye on things Step 4: Make sure you have everything you need Step 5: WEAR GLOVES Step 6: Mix peroxide and bleach powder (Remember, two peroxide to every one bleach) Step 7: Apply to hair Step 8: Leave bleach in hair for a maximum of 30 minutes Step 9: Shower Step 10: Try not to miss any spots or you will have to re-bleach Step 11: In true Anika and Lauren fashion, procrastinate Step 12: Apply dye to hair Step 13: Leave for as long as desired Step 14: Kill time Step 15: Shower NOW YOU HAVE SUPER MEGA FOXY AWESOME HOT HAIR!

May 13, 2012 - i'm dying my hair atlantic blue without bleaching, is it better to dye the hair after washing it or when it's greasy, just washed soaked with water? thanks a lot for the video, it was great!!!

May 16, 2012 - Hi! The colour won't be as strong as if it were dyed over bleached hair, but the intensiyy of it depends on your natural hair colour. The greasyness shouldn't matter too much if its just the dye. We tend to make our hair greasy because it lessons the burning sensation when you're bleaching. Hope your hair turns out awesome!
