Mar 21, 2012 - I've got both the ENGL Blackmore and Savage and I'm selling the Savage to buy the FB 100. The FB 100 has literally the same layout as the Blackmore and I prefer my amps to be simple. I don't like the Steve Morse nor the Invader as there's too many dials and knobs. Enjoy your amp.

Mar 22, 2012 - Thats what I like about the fireball 100, its a simple 2 channel high gain monster with a ferocious tone. I was looking into a powerball 2 or a mesa boogie triple rectifier but all the nobs and buttons pushed me away.

Mar 24, 2012 - I totally agree. I have both the Blackmore and the Savage and keep going back to the Blackmore. I find the Savage a nice amp but seems less organic than the Blackmore, if that makes sense. Plus its 30 plus dials and knobs, I find are just too much. So I'm selling the Savage and looking at getting either the Fireball 60 or 100. However, as I've owned the 60 watt version in the past, I might just try the FB 100. Rock on.
