Born Chris Lawrence in Kingston Jamaica W.I, Chris known to the music industry as "gangsta links" was exposed to music at an early age, the gripping sound of reggae and dancehall music caught the youngster by the tender age of nine years old, after hearing the songs he like blares on the radio daily. He would sing and dance which drew everyone attention. Chris "gangsta links" Lawrence moved to the United State of America in January 2004, attending the Sheepshead Bay High school, he took music as a route to keep him out of trouble, now at 24 years old he's ready to take on his love, music. With influences by all the greatest reggae and dancehall artists. He started his independent record label Maxfield Records and sign his in house producer Trini Production. So far Chris "gangsta links" Lawrence journey has caused him to meet a few mainstream artists and people in the industry. He as preformed at parties all over Brooklyn, New York and local clubs,(in and out of state) In 2007 he recorded songs like "mama nuh cry" and so also in 2008 "whine up in di club" and "love my baby girl". In 2011 he has record new material "The Lord is my shepherd", "Straight Jeans", "stop watch mi" and the hot new track "di gyal dem love mi t-shirt" along with other sizzling tracks.
