Jim is practicing his newly learned lifeguarding skills on Sparkles in the outdoor swimming pool at Avon Tyrrell Activity Centre in the New Forest. This skill called a Head Splint and is used to stabilise a casualty who is suspected of sustaining a spinal injury in waist deep water. Well done Jim!
