Two Old Crabs (who love to cook) was created by Ellen and Kim Grauer. We each love to cook and both agree: there's nothing more fun than cooking for family and friends! Our motto is "any old crab can do it" and we mean it. Our recipes are simple, good food, and our videos make cooking easy and accessible to anybody. Ellen owns the kitchen, which is usually off limits to men & dogs, which works out well for everyone. Kim's favorite cooking station is the grill. He excels in his outdoor kitchen, preparing foods that tempt any person into hunger. (He thinks his area is off limits to girls, but has yet to get away with it.) Living in the Pacific Northwest, he grills no matter what the weather: snow, rain and wind have yet to slow him down! For years, Ellen has been cutting out, borrowing and printing recipes of every kind and description. We've learned that even the slightest variation in a recipe can yield entirely different results. As with so many things in life, one thing leads to another. Recipes follow that same path, telling their own stories, treasured histories, and exciting futures. Where did Two Old Crabs come from? One day on a long drive to Portland, OR, we were talking about recipes and cooking and thought it might be fun to bring some of our recipes to the internet. From that moment, Two Old Crabs who love to cook was born. The goal is to make every recipe fun and approachable through video. Each is 90 seconds or less, shows the ingredients and finished product, and everything you need to know in-between.
