Humbah Aguiar was born in Sao Tome and lived one part of his childhood in Angola (Luanda). After completed the 11th year of pre - university in the National School of Sao Tome and Principe, where he was professor of geography, he travels to Portugal in order to complete's studies. In Aveiro, completes the 12th year and in Lisbon, attended Law school of Modern University of Lisbon. Three years later, he is compelled to repeat the 12th grade. It's with a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian who he entry in The Institute of Labor Science and Business (ISCTE), where he majored in Sociology. His mother is from Angola and his father from Sao Tome, he goes through these worlds in his works. Fighting to the African issues, his taking as favorite phrase: "In the struggle for economic independence and culture of Africa." In this perspective, in 2001 he made, with General D, famous Portuguese singer rap, a spectacle to supported flood victims of Mozambique, where he donated 500 euros resulting from this same spectacle. He also promotes Africans musicians in Lisbon and gave awards of "Dissemination of Culture of STP," this event, it's now in its third edition. This event honored names as: Camilo Domingos, Juka, Gelyto (singers), Carlos Espirito Santos (writer), Naidy Gomes (athlete) Carlos Menezes, Jerónimo Moniz (journalists), Kenya (dummy) and many others. At the same time, writes articles critical socio-political (mostly published on Internet), addressed to the society Sao Tome. Humbah, already has two published books. The first one was published on 7/11/2001 in the Portuguese Radio Broadcasting - Africa in Lisbon, with the title "Die A Piece of Me" Dr.Gaivota poems. The second was published in 2002 in ISCTE titled "In the struggle for power," a novel based on real facts. Both publications have been exhausted in a few days. Both work reflect the author's warning, for the civic duty. N'Guno Tiny - PhD in law - he exclaims about the book "Die A Piece of Me": "(....) had the courage to forward a contribution to civic society, like a gift, he giving and in the same time, he receive (...)» Humbah Aguiar, practiced martial arts and did children's theater. At the moment, he doing course english, try to burn a disc, and has some books ready to be published.
