I started posting in the days of low quality and restrictive limits. Some of the older stuff is poor quality. I now post most clips in HD although depending on where I am and what camera I have at hand that may not always be the case. It will always be at least at 720p. As for me, well I'm a grumpy old bastard that spent most of his life working shifts and driving trains. I started in the railways in 1965 and finished full time work in 2005. I enjoy travel at home and abroad, good food, nice wine, beer in the warmer months or just plain veging in front of the idiot box. Chasing trains gets me out of the house and is a great excuse to go on the road and see some of Australia. I'm happy to be "friends" with anybody that shares common interests. DO NOT send me friend invites to sites promoting racial and religious hatred there's enough shit going on in the world without promoting any more and don't send me videos to watch. I subscribe if I like your stuff and even then there are limits to how many subscriptions I can keep up with. This opens with a Cessna Caravan Amphibian aircraft landing in Talbot Bay......our ride home to Derby. We take off and pass over some of the many islands and spectacular landscape of the Buccaneer Archipeligo. The clip ends as we land at Derby.

The view from the boat as we go through both the larger and smaller openings between the bays. Feeding the groper at the base with the sharks looking on waiting for their share of the morsels. The sharks were very docile and could easily be patted but it paid to make sure one kept one's fingers...

The OneSteel (formerly BHP) 3'6" gauge system dates back to 1901 when the line was opened to Iron Knob to transport ore from the mine there back to Whyalla. A branch line was constructed in 1930 to Iron Baron and then extended to Iron Duke in 1990. The line from Middleback Junction to Iron Knob...
