I'm largely inspired by Lost for so many reasons. It's the most incredible and brave piece of television ever to be made in my opinion - challenging an audience to think and debate over the gravity of life's biggest forces. Both extremely powerful and complex, to watch Lost is to watch a metaphorical translation of the ups and downs and inexplicable complexities of our infinitely mysterious universe. While it can be adventurous and perilous, all circumstances force the characters to undertake a deeper emotional journey - a voyage which underpins every action which they take and defines the very nature of their turbulent island pursuits. Additionally, aside brilliant acting and writing I am astounded by the beautifully crafted soundtrack composed by Michael Giacchino and it is here on my YouTube page that I wish to acknowledge that as it forms such a fundamental, additional layer of emotional fabric to the storyline and it can both amplify and reflect the most significant feelings of the scenes. As I always say, the most important beautiful moments of Lost which deal with the show's most central and poignant themes such as life, death, redemption, faith and love always are accompanied by this incredible music and in that way, Giacchino notifies the audience not only as to what the show is all about but more importantly, like the subjective art form of the music itself, it underlines the significance of the feelings and emotions over reasoning and dissecting of questions and answers. In simple words, LOST is and always will be the greatest piece of television.
