Should we use 8 or 16 bit for retouching ? sixteen bit is a lot better for retouching as there is much more color depth to choose from, this helps cut down any banding caused when lightning a background and generally produces a more harmonious image.

Thanks IWS. Banding day, i only saw a part of it. Fish were left in the nest for the eaglet's return. #3 was returned first and pigged out while the other 2 were going thru their ordeal
